What happened

Korabelov, citing the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration’s morning account, reported Shahed-type drone attacks targeting regional energy infrastructure on 18 and 19 October. The initial report stated no casualties from those attacks. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy separately listed Mykolaiv among regions whose energy facilities were attacked overnight and in the morning. The reviewed accounts do not identify the energy facilities, quantify damage or establish a local outage count or restoration timetable. A separately reported 18 October missile strike damaged an unnamed industrial facility in Mykolaiv city; its energy role was not established, so it is not counted as another energy site here. The single regional marker is a Mykolaiv city reference, not a verified impact coordinate.
