What happened
A 36-inch Westcoast Energy natural-gas pipeline operated by Enbridge ruptured because of stress-corrosion cracking and the released sweet natural gas ignited. About 125 people within two kilometers were evacuated as a precaution; no injuries were reported. The marker is approximate.
