What happened

An explosion ruptured a six-inch Sui Southern Gas Company pipeline in the Bolan River corridor near Mach and ignited the line, forcing the utility to stop gas supply to Mach and nearby areas while repairs were carried out. Officials described the line as having been blown up, but the reviewed report did not identify an attacker or publish evidence attributing the incident to the Baloch Liberation Army or Baloch Liberation Front. The outage was local rather than a cutoff affecting millions, and the incident occurred in the Bolan/Mach area rather than Harnai. It is distinct from the larger 18-inch Quetta-area pipeline attacks recorded in December 2024 and 2026.
