What happened
The Liberian-flagged LPG tanker suffered major superstructure damage and a fire while sailing toward Reni with more than 3,790 tonnes of LPG. Romanian authorities evacuated all 17 crew members. Three were injured and one later died. Romania’s president said the vessel had been struck, but authorities had not established the cause or responsibility at the latest cited report.
