What happened

A fire broke out in a 20-inch Pakistan State Oil import pipeline running through Shell Pakistan's Keamari terminal, reportedly after infrastructure supporting the line was weakened by heavy rain. At least two people died and three were injured; fire tenders from the Navy, Karachi Port Trust and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation fought the blaze for hours, and fuel supply to parts of the country was disrupted while access roads were blocked for firefighting.
