What happened

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said approximately 300 barrels of Jet A aviation fuel discharged from a Magellan pipeline into Berryhill Creek near Tulsa. The responsible party isolated the release and deployed containment boom. Berryhill Creek flows into the Arkansas River, but EPA said there was no known discharge into the river when it published the incident profile. A nearby residential area was not evacuated. EPA deployed an on-scene coordinator and contractors for air monitoring and assessment.
