What happened
A fire occurred on a 30-inch gas pipeline at the injection point between Pemex’s Cactus Gas Processing Complex and the Cactus metering-and-regulation station. Five Mexican defense personnel nearby were injured and hospitalized in stable condition. Pemex controlled the fire and continued residual-process containment while opening a root-cause investigation.
