What happened

A fire broke out around 8:30am at SOCAR's Heydar Aliyev refinery in Baku, Azerbaijan's only oil-processing facility, following a release from the upper cover of heat exchanger No. 211/1 on Catalytic Reforming Unit No. 31. The State Fire Protection Service brought the fire under control and fully extinguished it the same morning; SOCAR said production was not disrupted.
