What happened

A large fire and a series of explosions engulfed a fuel warehouse in the Tanjaro area near Sulaimaniyah, in Iraq's Kurdistan region, just before midnight, spreading to destroy 34 petrol tankers and 4 gas-oil tankers and consuming more than 3 million litres of fuel.
