What happened
MSCIO Alert 90/26 initially reported that an unnamed Tanzania-flagged cargo vessel off Al Mokha was targeted by drones, leaving seven crew injured and four missing. Associated Press later identified the vessel as Tihama and reported, citing Yemeni authorities and survivor accounts, that three Houthi ballistic missiles struck it, killing six people and injuring at least nine. AP photo captions date the attack to 10 August, while MSCIO dates the incident to 11 August; both dates are retained rather than silently choosing one. The vessel's cargo and any pollution impact were not established in the reviewed reports.

Associated Press reported that Yemeni authorities attributed three ballistic-missile impacts to the Houthis. MSCIO's earlier Alert 90/26 described a drone attack and did not assign responsibility.
