What happened

A leak in a liquefied-gas transmission line inside Tehran Oil Refinery caused an explosion and fire. Iran’s Oil Ministry said the affected unit was isolated, nearby tanks were cooled, exports and production were not disrupted, and no casualties were reported. Officials rejected sabotage as the cause. The fire continued overnight before being extinguished the following morning.
