A tanker reported that a small craft, described as having a low freeboard and an orange interior with four persons aboard, approached the vessel on the port quarter to within 2 nautical miles before leaving the vicinity heading south. No attack, boarding or damage occurred, and the crew were reported safe. The small craft's identity and intent were not established.
