What happened

Military authorities reported that an unknown uncrewed aerial vehicle struck a tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz. UKMTO reported minor structural damage, no casualties or environmental impact, and that the vessel continued to its next port. JMIC placed the incident approximately six nautical miles east of the Musandam Peninsula. The vessel identity, tanker class, cargo, UAV source, and responsibility were not established.
