Russian campaign against Ukrainian retail fuel stations (aggregate)

What happened

This is an aggregate record, not a single incident: Ukrainian retail fuel stations became a deliberate, sustained target class during 2026, primarily in frontline oblasts. WOG CEO Andriy Pyvovarsky said more than 150 stations burned down over roughly two months to late June; industry tracking cited by Ukrainian media put the pace at about 15.5 stations hit per week by late June, rising to as many as 20 per week in early July, up from roughly 2–3 per week between October 2025 and April 2026. Affected regions include Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk. Operators introduced overnight closures, blackout procedures, shutdowns during air-raid alerts, and anti-drone netting at some sites. Most of the 150+ affected stations were not individually named in public reporting, so this aggregate marker supplements — not replaces — the individually verified station-level markers elsewhere on this map.
