What happened

Syrian Petroleum Company spokesman Uday al-Satouf told SANA that an explosion targeted the Al-Jabsa gas export pipeline in Al-Arbeidi, around 60 kilometres from Al-Shaddadi. Fire followed and valves on both sides of the affected section were shut. Response teams secured the area. No attacker, casualties, lost gas volume or restoration time was disclosed. Anadolu relayed the statement. The marker is an Al-Shaddadi regional reference, not the pipeline rupture location.
