What happened
A Russian strike hit the energy and blast-furnace production facilities at ArcelorMittal's steel plant in Kryvyi Rih, killing two people and injuring 13 employees and contractors. ArcelorMittal said production processes were partially halted and specialists were assessing the damage and restoration timeline, condemning what it called an attack on "a civilian object of the mining and metallurgical industry." This is the second major strike on the plant; a 2022 missile attack destroyed its rolling shop and killed one employee.
