What happened

This is an aggregate record, not a single incident: Ukrainian drones struck at least 19 of the roughly 71 filling stations in and around Belgorod over five days (19–23 July 2026) — about 26.7% of the local network — according to independent Russian outlet Meduza. Stations operated by Rosneft, Lukoil, Gazprom Neft, Teboil and the local Smart chain were reportedly hit, causing fires, damaged pumps and closures, with queues forming at surviving stations. Independent Russian investigative outlet Agentstvo counted at least 24 attacks on Belgorod-area stations since 20 July, of which regional authorities confirmed 21. Individual station locations mostly were not published in the cited reporting, so this aggregate marker is placed at an approximate Belgorod-area reference point rather than a specific station.
