Borouge Ruwais production complex — interception-debris fires and suspension

What happened

Borouge said falling debris from an air-defence interception damaged assets at its Ruwais production facilities and started fires. All fires were brought under control and no injuries were reported. Production in the affected areas was suspended for damage assessment and repairs; the company later said initial repairs and a phased restart had made most production units available, without quantifying the share of capacity lost. This record is distinct from the 10 March drone-strike fire and precautionary shutdown at ADNOC's refinery in the wider Ruwais complex.
