Bryansk civilian and military fuel depots — major fires
25 April 2022
Bryansk, Russia
What happened
Large fires broke out minutes apart at the Transneft-Druzhba civilian oil depot and a separate military fuel depot in Bryansk. Russian state reporting described the sites as holding about 10,000 and 5,000 tonnes of fuel respectively. Ukrainian drones or sabotage were widely suspected, but Ukraine did not claim the incident and Russian investigators did not publish a conclusive cause; claims that Bayraktar TB2 drones carried out the strikes therefore remain unverified.
