A crude-oil storage tank caught fire at Dingrui Petroleum Products in the Dongxing industrial area of Nandagang Industrial Park. China’s Ministry of Emergency Management said national and provincial authorities coordinated the response. Hazardous-material rescue teams fought the tank fire for 84 hours before extinguishing it; the ministry’s cited notice did not report casualties or identify the initiating cause.
