What happened
BP reported gas bubbles leaking from the A02 well at the Grand Tortue Ahmeyim field. The well, about 120 km offshore, had not yet entered production and authorities said field production continued normally. Technical equipment was installed on the wellhead and the Mauritanian energy ministry confirmed the leak was completely stopped in March.
