Saudi Arabia and Yemen's Houthis both reported a large missile-and-drone operation on 19 September, but gave conflicting accounts of its outcome. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones targeted Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu and sensitive sites in Riyadh, claiming that the weapons reached their targets and caused major fires. The Saudi-led coalition confirmed attempted attacks toward Riyadh and civilian infrastructure in Yanbu, Taif, Baysh and Farasan, but said they were intercepted or thwarted and reported no casualties or damage. Aramco did not publish a site-level confirmation in the reviewed reporting, and no independently verified imagery or operating data resolved the competing claims.
