What happened
Pakistani air strikes hit the fuel depot of private Afghan airline Kam Air near Kandahar airport, according to the Taliban administration, heavily damaging facilities supplying jet fuel to civilian carriers, humanitarian flights and UN aircraft and igniting large fires. The same night's strikes also reportedly hit residential areas in Kabul, killing four people and wounding more than a dozen. Pakistan's own confirmation of the strike was not cited in the reporting reviewed.
