What happened

Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation reported an attack at King Khalid International Airport, with one person killed and eight injured, during its account of attacks on 6–7 October. The authority reported material damage and said assessments were continuing. The Houthis claimed the airport attacks, while the authority did not identify an attacker. The reviewed reports do not establish the precise weapon or impact point, the extent of damage, a sustained closure or damage to fuel facilities. This airport-area marker is not a verified impact coordinate. These casualties are separate from the earlier Jazan and Najran airport reports.

When cited sources give different casualty, damage or spill figures for this event, they’re reported side by side above rather than merged into one number. See how confidence levels work.
