What happened
Russian forces struck an unidentified energy facility in Poltava Oblast's Myrhorod district during the overnight 26–27 August missile-and-drone barrage. Regional administration head Vitalii Diakivnych said the attack caused an emergency outage that temporarily left consumers in seven settlements without electricity. Industrial enterprises in the separate Kremenchuk district were also attacked, but the available reporting did not establish that they were energy facilities and they are not counted as additional energy incidents. No casualties were reported. The marker is an approximate Myrhorod-area reference because authorities withheld the facility's identity, precise location, damage details and customer count.
When cited sources give different casualty, damage or spill figures for this event, they’re reported side by side above rather than merged into one number. See how confidence levels work.
