What happened

A natural-gas fire broke out on DCOR's non-producing Platform Habitat during decommissioning work, about eight miles offshore. All 26 personnel evacuated safely by vessel and responders extinguished the fire later that morning. No injuries or immediate environmental impact were reported. The platform was already non-operational, so this record does not represent a new production shutdown.
