What happened

Poltava Oblast Military Administration head Volodymyr Kohut said falling wreckage from a Russian drone damaged power lines in Poltava district during the overnight 26–27 September attack, temporarily disconnecting approximately 500 customers. Repair crews began restoration work and no casualties were reported. Drones also struck industrial enterprises in the separate Myrhorod district during the same attack, but the reviewed official reporting did not identify those businesses as energy facilities; they are therefore included only as campaign context and are not counted as additional energy incidents. The exact line location and damaged equipment were withheld, so the marker is an approximate Poltava-area reference rather than an impact coordinate.

When cited sources give different casualty, damage or spill figures for this event, they’re reported side by side above rather than merged into one number. See how confidence levels work.
