What happened

QatarEnergy reported extensive damage after a further missile attack at the LNG and gas-processing complex, including Pearl GTL and LNG Trains 4 and 6. The two damaged trains represented 12.8 million tonnes per year, approximately 17% of export capacity, and QatarEnergy estimated repairs would take three to five years. Production had already ceased after the separate 2 March attacks, so this record does not assign a new shutdown percentage to the 18 March strike.
