What happened

A Crimea-based Telegram channel cited by ISW reported that Ukrainian drones likely struck an unidentified power substation in occupied Saki district on 24 August. The same assessment separately noted overnight power outages in occupied Yalta after presumed drone activity, but the cited reporting did not establish that the Saki substation caused the Yalta outages. Neither Russian occupation authorities nor Ukraine formally confirmed the substation strike, and no geolocated damage imagery, voltage level, customer count or restoration time was published. The marker is therefore an approximate district reference and the incident remains unconfirmed.
