What happened

Ukraine's General Staff said the Samara linear production-dispatch station near Prosvet was hit and that a fire followed. The Security Service of Ukraine subsequently identified four targets in the combined operation: the Volgograd refinery and, within the Samara complex, the LPDS plus the Samara-1 and Samara-2 pumping stations. This record groups the three closely colocated Samara components rather than presenting them as three independently geolocated incidents. The complex receives, stores, blends and pumps crude arriving from Western Siberia, Tatarstan, Orenburg and Kazakhstan; Ukrainian reporting described 71 tanks with more than 1.6 million cubic metres of storage. Independent Russian outlet Meduza reported that an oil-pipeline dispatch facility caught fire based on ASTRA's open-source analysis, while Samara authorities did not publicly confirm the facility damage. No throughput loss or shutdown has been established.
