What happened

Reuters reported, citing two industry sources, that a tank containing oil products caught fire at the Novorossiysk Fuel Oil Terminal during the overnight drone attack into 9 September. The tank's capacity was approximately 37,000 cubic metres; this is not a measurement of its contents, fuel burned or pollution. Mayor Andrei Kravchenko reported drone debris at businesses and near a residential building. The terminal had not responded to Reuters about damage or operational impact. Ukraine separately claimed hits on oil-loading and naval facilities, but damage to warships remains unverified. This updates the existing September incident and is separate from the August raid.
