What happened
ZN.ua reported on 9 October that satellite imagery published by the OSINT project Absolutely Reliable Source indicated four 50,000-cubic-metre tanks burned out at Samara-2 after a probable 7 October repeat strike. It separately described a tank still smouldering at Samara-1 from the 2 October attack. The date and damage assessment remain attributed OSINT findings, not an independently verified operator assessment. The report said Ukraine’s General Staff had not announced this repeat strike. Tank capacity does not establish inventory burned; no verified oil-loss quantity, throughput reduction, shutdown, casualty count or restoration timetable is established. This record is separate from the 2 October attack and its subsequent military damage assessment; damage counts must not be added without reconciling overlap. The marker references the existing Samara complex, not a verified individual tank or impact.
