What happened

Ukrenergo reported that Russian drone and artillery strikes on civilian energy infrastructure left consumers without electricity in parts of six oblasts: Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Sumy. Emergency repairs began where the security situation permitted, and the operator asked consumers to shift heavy appliance use to 11:00–15:00 while industrial solar output peaks. No individual substation or generating facility was named and no customer-disconnection count was published, so this is an aggregate record rather than a single-site incident.
