What happened

Lightning struck a tank at CITGO's Lake Charles refinery and ignited a fire at the Cit-Con lubricant and wax plant. Emergency crews extinguished it at 4:57pm, roughly three and a half hours after ignition. CITGO said all personnel were accounted for, no injuries occurred and the refinery's other operations continued normally.
