What happened
Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation said King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Airport in Jazan and Najran Airport were hit in two attacks on Monday evening, causing material damage and three minor injuries across the two sites. The authority said the injured were taken to hospital and specialist teams were assessing damage. It did not allocate the casualties between the airports, identify the weapons or name the attacker. The confirmation followed a Houthi announcement claiming missile-and-drone attacks against Saudi airports and other sites, so Houthi responsibility remains an attributed claim rather than a finding in the civil-aviation statement. No timestamped public security-warning or all-clear notice corresponding to this attack was located; Saudi Arabia does not provide a complete public alert archive, so that absence does not establish that no alert was issued. A same-day Jazan warning located in official reporting concerned severe weather and is unrelated. This record does not infer damage to the airport's fuel storage, a prolonged closure or a particular impact point.
When cited sources give different casualty, damage or spill figures for this event, they’re reported side by side above rather than merged into one number. See how confidence levels work.
