What happened

Crude oil leaked from a furnace tube and ignited beneath a furnace in Block A at New Zealand's Marsden Point oil refinery. The fire was extinguished within minutes according to a refinery spokesman, though ten fire crews from Whangarei, Ruakaka, Waipu and Portland responded as a precaution, with the last leaving about 10:30pm. No one was reported missing or seriously injured.
