What happened

An explosion ruptured Nord Stream 2 southeast of Bornholm and caused a major subsea gas leak at coordinates published by the Danish Energy Agency. After a joint investigation, Copenhagen Police and the Danish Security and Intelligence Service concluded that the Nord Stream explosions were deliberate sabotage, but said there were insufficient grounds to pursue a criminal case in Denmark.
