What happened

Eight Ukrainian drones struck the Slavyansk ECO refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, targeting its atmospheric-vacuum distillation system; the resulting blaze was brought under control within about 90 minutes and the plant suspended operations. One refinery boiler-facility employee reportedly died of a suspected heart attack; no direct casualties from the strike itself were reported.
