What happened

Kyiv Post reports that air-raid sirens sounded across Krasnodar Krai shortly after 01:00 local time on 6 November and that the regional operational headquarters said falling drone debris caused a fire at one of the enterprises in Afipsky, Seversky district, with no casualties; it did not name the refinery. Astra's OSINT analyst said the refinery's tank farm was on fire, and Euromaidan Press, citing Radio Svoboda, says witness footage of the fire was geolocated to the refinery. Drone debris also damaged apartment windows in Afipsky, Rosaviatsia temporarily restricted flights at Krasnodar airport, and Russia's Defence Ministry said 142 drones were downed overnight across several regions. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev had not confirmed an attack on the refinery, and Kyiv Post could not independently verify it. Damage extent and any throughput loss were not reported. Distinct from the 26 September and earlier 2026 Afipsky incidents.
