What happened

Sudan Electricity Holding Company reports drone strikes damaging substations at Sinja, El Hawata, Al Fao, Mashkour and Al-Junaid, with outages affecting Sennar, Gedaref, White Nile and Gezira states. Reuters relays the operator’s account and says it could not independently verify it; the RSF did not immediately respond. The operator warns of wider grid instability. Customer totals, lost capacity and restoration times are unavailable. This is one grouped event covering five reported sites; the marker uses Sinja as a town reference and does not locate any substation or imply all five sites are co-located.
