What happened
Ukrainska Pravda, citing Ukrenergo and Ukraine’s Energy Ministry, reports new outages after overnight Russian attacks in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Sumy regions, plus an energy-sector attack in Khmelnytskyi region. Repairs were beginning where safe. This is one grouped update, not eight verified facility strikes; named sites, affected customer totals and lost generating capacity are not established. The national marker does not locate a damaged facility. Continuing outages from earlier attacks are not counted as new impacts merely because they appear in this update. Updated on 27 October 2026, 21:00 UTC+0.
