What happened

Al Jazeera, citing Reuters, reports that Russia's Ministry of Energy said Ukrainian strikes hit energy infrastructure overnight and that temporary outage schedules were in force in Russian-occupied Crimea; it did not say how many households were affected. A Moscow-installed official separately said Crimea ordered the cuts after an accident outside the region, so the cause is disputed. No struck facility, location, weapon or casualties were identified. The marker is an area reference for the peninsula, not an impact site.
