What happened

Ukrainian forces repeatedly struck the Marine Oil Terminal at Feodosia in occupied Crimea during October 2025. Ukraine's General Staff confirmed the initial 6 October strike and a renewed strike overnight into 13 October; a large fire burned for several days. The General Staff later said at least 16 fuel tanks were damaged. Independent satellite-imagery analysis cited by the Critical Threats Project assessed that the 6, 7 and 13 October strikes destroyed or severely damaged at least 11 main storage tanks and six smaller day or additive tanks, while noting cumulative damage from earlier attacks. These figures use different tank categories and assessment dates and therefore should not be summed. The record does not infer the amount of fuel destroyed, a complete terminal shutdown or casualties because those were not established in the reviewed reporting.
