What happened

A fire occurred at the coking plant of Pemex's Olmeca refinery. More than 150 emergency specialists responded, administrative personnel inside the refinery and at the Dos Bocas marine terminal were evacuated, and one firefighter was treated for mild smoke inhalation. Pemex said the fire was extinguished, other processing areas were unaffected and no risk reached the nearby population. A root-cause investigation began.
