What happened

A loss of containment in a process-unit discharge line caused a small fire inside Pemex's Olmeca refinery. Specialist firefighters controlled it, placed the affected unit in a safe condition and removed hazards around the area. Pemex reported no effects on personnel, the environment or the community and said the refinery continued operating normally.
