Ukraine's General Staff said its forces struck the control tower at Saky airfield and a relay station used to control Geran- and Gerbera-type attack drones near Chornomorske on 12 August, stating the strikes 'weaken Russia's ability to operate the military airfield and control attack drones.' This is a distinct target set from the 1 July hangar strike at the same airfield recorded separately on this site.
