What happened

Zhytomyr regional governor Vitaliy Bunechko said two petrol stations came under Russian attack during a wider wave of strikes on 12 September. His account, reported by Reuters, also described a deadly strike on a grocery store in Zvyahel and an attack on an unidentified foreign-invested enterprise, but it did not locate or name either fuel station, identify their operators, describe their damage or separate any station casualties from the wider regional toll. The two stations are therefore grouped in one regional record. The marker is an approximate oblast reference and must not be read as either impact location; no fire, fuel release, closure or regional supply effect is inferred.

When cited sources give different casualty, damage or spill figures for this event, they’re reported side by side above rather than merged into one number. See how confidence levels work.
