What happened
Zhytomyr regional governor Vitaliy Bunechko's initial 12 September account described strikes on a BRSM petrol station in Zviahel and two petrol stations in Korosten. A subsequent regional update covering 12–13 September raised the total to four damaged petrol stations across the Zviahel and Korosten districts. Suspilne reported fires at two stations during the 12 September attacks, all of which emergency crews extinguished. The two people killed in the wider attack died in a separate strike on a grocery shop; the governor said the three initially identified station attacks caused no casualties. Public reporting did not identify every station operator, quantify fuel losses or establish a regional supply interruption. The four sites remain grouped in one regional record, and the marker is an approximate oblast reference rather than an impact location.
