What happened

Robert Brovdi (callsign 'Madyar'), commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, said via Telegram that Ukrainian drones struck a MiG-29 fighter at the Dolotinka dispersal site of Millerovo airbase in Rostov Oblast on 24 August, along with what was later identified as a decoy mockup of a Ka-52 attack helicopter. The unit described it as the third Russian fighter jet reached by Ukrainian drones in two days, following a claimed strike on a MiG-29 and other aircraft at Vityazevo airfield in Krasnodar Krai on 23 August. The reviewed reporting is sourced entirely to the Ukrainian military unit's own Telegram claims, with no satellite-imagery confirmation, Russian acknowledgment, or independent verification found; this record is flagged accordingly and no casualties were reported.

When cited sources give different casualty, damage or spill figures for this event, they’re reported side by side above rather than merged into one number. See how confidence levels work.
