What happened
Ukraine's Special Operations Forces said its long-range units struck the Purovsky Condensate Processing Plant during the same 9 September operation in which it claimed a strike on the Novy Urengoy plant. Reuters reported the two-site Ukrainian claim while Russian regional authorities acknowledged a drone incident and fire only at an unidentified industrial facility in Novy Urengoy, roughly 200 kilometres away. The reviewed sources did not independently establish an impact at Purovsky, identify damaged equipment, confirm a fire there or report a production interruption. This is therefore a separate, cautiously located marker for the Ukrainian claim rather than documented physical damage. The coordinate represents the wider Purpe/Purovsky facility area and is not a verified impact point.
