What happened

UA.NEWS, citing the Chernihiv city council press office, reports that Chernihiv was completely without power as of 07:21 on 7 November after an overnight Russian attack, and that public electric transport was suspended at 07:25 with no restoration time given. The struck facility was not named. On 6 November Chernihivoblenergo had reported damage to a critical power facility in Chernihiv district, and the Energy Ministry listed Chernihiv among seven regions with consumers cut off that day. It is not established whether the 7 November blackout stems from new damage or the same facility. The marker is a city area reference.
